(no subject)
It is 1:00 and also hot and muggy outside. Today is a holiday so i didn't have to go to work today, although I wouldn't have minded it too terribly.
I don't know if I have been very productive, i've unpacked most of the kitchen, and went grocery shopping yesterday. I bought 6 eggs and managed to drop them leaving me with only 3 eggs. Luckily enough for me, i only needed 3 eggs for my recipe. Alas...
I have decided to work my magic one room at a time, it seems to be the method that has made the most progress so far. i've made the master bathroom very pretty, the other bathroom is completely functional, and now to the kitchen and then the laundry room.
I am baking, because for whatever reason i enjoy baking...the older i get the more like my mother I become (i have no problem with this).
Baking seems much much easier than regular cooking, which is probably just an illusion. I am making key lime bars (like lemon bars), and i am hoping that they are yummy delicious. Then i will probably bake some cookies and take them to work because i like to eat cookies at work and also share them with SOME people (by some I mean Melody and Tina)... luckily our boss seems to think that sweets are for sub-human lowlifes...aka, people of a lower social status. I say luckily because I don't want to share cookies with her, and also because potato chips are equally as low-lifey...so there...
