Picspam: Re-casting Underworld
For challenge nine at vamp_land, we were to do a casting (or re-casting) picspam! I decided to re-cast the movie Underworld. I loved all the original casting choices, but I thought it would be fun to give the movie a completely new cast. Enjoy!

VAMPIRES
Selene is the main character of the movie and played by Kate Beckinsale.
I’ve recently come to love Sophia Bush. She’s beautiful, but also looks like she could kick some major lycan butt!
Erika is the beautiful, blonde vampire enamored with Kraven and played by Sophia Myles.
Evan Rachel Wood just has that right look. She would look gorgeous wearing some gorgeous gothic vampire fashions!
Kraven is the vampire regent who wants to make Selene his queen. He is played by Shane Brolly.
Kraven is a ruthless, yet suave GQ looking man. We all know ASkars is suave and GQ and can definitely play a vampire!
Viktor is one of the three elder vampires (Markus and Amelia are the other two) and acted as a sort of father figure to Selene after she became a vampire. He’s played by Bill Nighy.
Ralph Fiennes knows how to play a villain. He could play them the rest of his life and I would be happy!
Amelia is one of the elder vampires who’s killed on her way to go back into hibernation, as it was almost Markus’ turn to rule. She’s played by Zita Görög
I think Carla Gugino would make a wonderful Amelia. I wanted an older, beautiful actress to play her. (Also, I chose not to cast Markus, because we don’t really see him in this movie. Even though we really only see Amelia when she’s dying/dead.)
These lovely people are cast to play miscellaneous vampires. They’re all gorgeous people and I’d love to see them play vampires. Especially Hannibal Gaspard!
LYCANS
Lucian is the leader of the Lycans and in cahoots with Kraven. He’s played by the awesome Michael Sheen.
I asked my friends on Twitter if they knew of a middle aged actor who could look rugged and lead a pack of lycans. Karl Urban was suggested and I was all, “OMG PERFECT.”
Singe is the lycan doctor who’s trying to find the right Corvinus strain in blood to make a lycan/vampire hybrid. He ends up dying in the vampires’ mansion and his lycan blood mixes with Markus’ blood, thus making him a hybrid. He’s played by Erwin Leder.
I know MGG isn’t old like Singe is in the movie, but I think he would make an awesome doctor! I mean, just look at him!
No lycan leader is complete without his sexy followers!
THE LONE HUMAN
Michael Corvin is the human the lycans are after because he’s a descendant and carrier of the Corvinus strain. Selene rescues him and they become romantically involved.
I like Adam Brody. He has a very human quality to him and I think he would make a great Michael. Plus he’s adorable.
