So the wedding is really, REALLY sneaking up on us. actually, it's not so much sneaking but RUNNING FULL TILT. I fear, soon, it will be a week away and panic will begin (or continue. definitely continue.)
We have a lot done. a LOT. but there's still a lot to be decided and unfortunately, my main concern is the setup/decoration of the marquee - which of course, we can't do until 2 days before the wedding. What if it looks crap? not like we're gonna have any time to fix it!
Oh well. I'm sure it will be OK. Not much we can do if it's not!
RSVP's are coming in pretty steadily, 1 or 2 every couple of days, so that's good :) I wanted to show you guys the Invitations, as I am so damn proud of them, and I know a few people asked since i was ON AND ON about them, so here they are,
The invitation was sent out in a DVD case:

I'm also proud that I could remember how to do an LJcut. \o/
I also made all the girls' bouquets from fabric, have made most of my bouquet but am still coming to a final decision on it.
Bridesmaids have dresses
groomsmen have suits
I have my dress
Phil has his suit.
Catering is sorted
Venue is sorted
the major, major thing to finalize is just decor, really. All the little things that we'll slave over and noone will notice ;)
hair trial this weekend
makeup trial done
etc etc.
Anyway, that's all boring.
Also, Last week WE GOT A PUPPY. haha haaaaaaa we're insane. *shakes head*
But she's soooo cute. We were originally offered her for $400 or something and then as noone took her and she was getting older, they offered her to us for free. A purebred Border collie. We couldn't really say no to that.
She's lovely, but cheeky, and bitey, and makes me sad from time to time with just how much so, but I'm sure she'll get better and be less naughty once she gets past this puppy stage of everything must be nommed, we've already trained her (mostly) out of jumping all over us, and to fetch, sit, lay down, and stay... sometimes. and roll over... sometimes. hehe.
Her name is Molly, and here is her BEAUTIFUL FACE
I am TIIIREEDDDD. I think this is a good practice run for having kids. cos seriously. TIRED.
