So I've been on the 12wbt for a month now, seems like less, but it's going well! I've lost 3.5kg, and did measurements today and have lost 13cm! (off waist/chest/hips/thighs combined, that is) No wonder my pants are falling off!
am feeling good, though it's exhausting, especially this last week - Phil has been working a lot of overtime so he hasn't been able to exercise with me due to not getting home til 7 or so. It sucks, but at least I get the whole space in the gym/shed to do a workout instead of us having to avoid bumping into each other :)
Only drawback is it means I haven't done ANY running, have just been doing fitness dvds indoors and oddly i miss getting out in the night air, but I don't like going wandering on the streets when phil's not with me, it's not like I live in a bad neighbourhood or anything (the times we went out we didn't even SEE anyone) but it's just a thing. I don't like being outside on my own in the dark, especially if I've got headphones on and can't hear anyone coming up behind me.
Plus I don't feel so silly running with/behind someone as I do on my own.
But anyway. Am feeling fitter, and proud, and considering I was aiming to lose 2kg a month and have lost 3.5 I'm freaking thrilled :D
We haven't even been following the meal plans especially, just keeping to the calories per day as much as possible and it's made me so aware of portion sizes, and how much certain things are worth, which is great. I'm excited for what the next 8 weeks hold :)
