Omg, it has been so so long since I have been on my Livejournal, and even longer since I have been active in the doll hobby!
So much has happened, but long story short, I am so excited to get back into the hobby again. I feel like I have been spiritually and creatively renewed, and big life decisions are on their way! I have just about decided to start back up my Etsy shop again and try to experience the hobby in a new way, buy making things for dolls and selling them! I have all sorts of ideas, and I can’t wait to get started one day soon on making that dream a reality!

Aslo, I got Serenity’s body in today, and I am so happy about it! I have missed having her around, and I really had a chance to bond with her.
I changed her eyes to some brown Mako eyes I have (the purple ones she had on previously were just too darn dark!) and I think the combo of brown eyes with pink hair is simply adorable! I also changed her eyelashes to some I bought from Luts a while back, and I am super happy with them I dressed her in a Wimukt outfit I bought for her a while back, and her look is definitely coming together!
I have been working on her and Levi’s (my Luts Kid Delf Bory Unicorn) story a bit, and I am excited to share what I have been brain storming on! (I will be taking photos of them together soon!) Anyway, Levi (short for Levianoth [Lee-vie-uh-nuth] is Serenity’s (her royal name is not known to me yet) betrothed. He has come from their planet/world for her, to be married and re-unite their people after a decade’s war has broken up the races on their planet.
Serenity was sent to earth by her parents a long time ago when the war first began to protect the Prince Levianoth’s chosen one (her). She was supposed to be raised by the centaur they sent her with, but sadly the nameless centaur had died. She was found in the woods by some travelling merchants that took her in to raise her for their own (sadly, they could not have children of their own). Her pink hair and dark eyes were strange, but they became used to it, and slowly the village they lived in learned to accept her as she was as well.
Levianoth makes the journey to earth to find his betrothed, startled to learn that her protector had died long ago, and she did not know who she was. (Centaurs appear human on earth, except for his ears and his horn-Unicorn Centaurs are royalty).
Serenity is part deer and centaur, and soon I will commission Sparrow’s shop for her some antlers! Anyway, so I am still beefing up their story, but I am really liking it. I can only imagine how they met Her, wandering in the woods surrounding her adopted parent’s cabin, to come face to face with a strange boy with strange markings and long ears Awwww
So, I have also been working on Levi. I added some temporary tattoos to his left arm and coated them over really well with some MSC. I also got my husband, Robby to put a hole in his left ear so I could add a gold split ring to serve as a piercing. I also re-did his faceup, and eventually I will get it done professionally, but I really love how he looks right now
I don’t have a lot of clothing for him (and zero shoes), but I hope to amend that soon enough. I would also like to get him a Princely outfit and a Centaur body, but that will come in due time He is dressed a bit like a rebel, but that is mainly because he likes the color black. It is a warrior’s color, and since he has been fighting in the long war at their home world, he has grown accustomed to wearing such gloomy colors.
Serenity is such a contrast to him, with her light pink hair and pastel colored outfits. I think it intriques him even more about her.
So, also, among other news, I did a photoshoot with her today! Yay!

I have also been trying to work on a story and character for my Luka head I have ordered in a split from Fairyland I want her name to be Story, and I already know what faceup style I want for her. I have a brown mohair wig and some grey Mako eyes that I think will look really great on her I want to get her an M-line body. I will either order it through DDE in a layaway plan, or try to get one secondhand on the DoA Marketplace. Either way, I am ready to get her character and story line under way, but all in due time. I am trying to take it as slow as possible in the hobby right now so I won’t be tempted to get back into the buying and selling dolls cycle I was in. That really hindered me in bonding with my dolls and was a big factor leading up to my disappearance from the hobby for a while.
Anyway, I am back and I am so happy to be able to talk about my lovelies on here! More soon on Levi and Serenity and Story!
