London's calling...

Jul 14, 2008 22:29

There were several points throughout the past two months when I was sure that someone or something was utterly against me ever reaching England. And it seems that I was already settled upon the idea of postponing the trip until the next year, but seeing as I am as fickle as a shoe, I’ve changed my mind again and this time managed to secure the tickets before another wind swayed me in the opposite direction.

I’m invading England on the 7th of August, arriving late at night. Although not as prolonged as I initially hoped it to be, the trip will last two weeks and I shall tour the isle for 10 days prior to settling at my relatives’ in London for a few days. I have only skimmed through the itinerary and am already psyched as only a complete moron would be - York, Bath. Stratford, Edinburgh, Glasgow, the Highlands, Glen Coe, Liverpool, Chester, Cambridge…

My mind gets slightly dizzy and I am convinced something might still happen, but be as it may, I am currently giddy.

And Goddess knows I need a portion of giddiness right now.
