I need to check the cost, but I believe I will try on and possibly buy the dress that Eric likes. If I get it in white (probably not), I can wear it to the rehearsal dinner - which, knowing me, will be a dumb move.

seems to be a common theme amongst a lot of the recent brides I know.. Can I wear an awesometacular other color? Or is that bad etiquette?

just like your wedding, your rehearsal dinner can be whatever you want it to be. i wore my favorite multi-colored dress to my rehearsal dinner and no one batted an eyelash. we had a really good time. :)

i was also thinking that since your wedding dress is white anyway, why would you want to give people a preview of how stunning you'll look in your bridal gown color? take everyone's breath away!

Probably because it's going to be an even small crowd!!! No aunts throwing fits at this one!! (Oh the drama ensuing in my family!!!)

Eric loves the dress with the roushing (sp?) on the side. It starts in white. Or wear that to the BBQ.
