Week 1 of making changes

Ye Cats ya got a lot of stuff going on babe. Good job with your stuff so far and frozen meals sound good for you. I am taking the opposite approach for myself trying to cut out frozen meals and cook more for cost sake and for the sake that there are two of us here. I still do some frozen meals for lunch at work but trying to do more cooking at home and manage my portion size. I have decided that Samhain will be my official weigh in date and I will keep track on a specific day after that and record it on my personal calander to keep myself honest and on track. As I am focusing more on making life changes to make me lose weight instead of focusing on losing weight to make life changes I am adding an emphasis each month. Last month was 10000 steps and portion control this month I am going to focus on taking my vitamins every day and adding stretching for flexibility. As for your friend, weather he actually took the pills or not he really needs to talk to a counselor or something... someone qualified as there are probably underlying issues he isn't telling you. Better safe than sorry in any case.
