So according to live journal... I haven't been on for 106 weeks. I'm back.

School is really kicking my ass and I need to blog about it lol. I need a forum to talk to all my friends cause I am missing everyone A LOT. I just finished week 5 of 16 of my first semester of nursing school. In the first five weeks, I have cried at least 3 times per week, seriously doubted my decision to do this at least once per week and went to the hospital er with what i am assuming was an anxiety related asthma attack (I love prednisone). All that said... I am still plugging away slowly but surely. I have decided to just let school happen and take it one day at a time.

In other news, I have decided that a lot of the problems I am having with health are definitely related to being overweight. I have decided to do something about it. The second reason I decided this was because it will give me more of a schedule. So I am not just doing school and hanging out online. Here are my goals:

1. blog at least once per week (holding my self accountable and reducing stress)
2. walk at least 3 times per week (30 min minumum)
3. attend weekly weight watchers meetings (conveniently located 1/2 block away)

These are my goals to start since I can't afford to join the gym on top of weight watchers. So I started all of it today. I joined weight watchers online. I am blogging and I went for a half hour walk (there is a track conveniently located behind my apartment). I walked one mile! The more I look around the more I realize that now is the time to start making changes. I can't wait and no one else is going to or can do this for me. So here I go.

Any tips, hints or general encouragement is always welcome. lol
