At the risk of being annoying, I have to post about Glee again.
See, this Wednesday is the Fall Finale, which basically has everyone on the edge of their seats and we'll be bereft of singing/comedy/drama goodness until like April.
I've been trying to avoid spoilers but I accidentally clicked on a sneak peek for the 13th episode and OMG, I ROFL'd to the point of tears and my brother could tell I was laughing over Glee, even though I had my headphones on. *hangs head in shame*
GO WATCH IT:
http://www.hulu.com/watch/113249/glee-nothing-to-be-scared-of#s-p1-sr-i1 The camera work is pretty genius. I love a nice use of split screens.
The show covers some amazing stuff: a female lead with two gay dads, a gay football player in designer clothes, a preggo teen cheerleader, a hysterical pregnancy, "other Asian"-ness, celibacy clubs, blackmail, paternity/baby-daddy drama, drug usage, hazing, extra-marital flirting, and able-bodiness.
The last ep looks like they added another HILARIOUS dimension: BI-SEXUALITY. XD *dies* ...you just have to watch the clip. But I have to say: FUCK YESS!!!!!! (that is so hot)
"'Sup, MILF?"
In case you wanna hear some of their great numbers and see some of the choreography, here are a few of my favorites:
Halo/Walking on Sunshine Mash-up (in a battle of boys vs. girls to compete for a song at sectionals, the girls give all the guys boners with their cuteness)
It's My Life / Confessions II Mash-up (the boys enter the competition on a magical over-the-counter "Vitamin Decongestant" their uncertified nurse gives them. Finn, the lead singer, normally stiff and buffoonish, suddenly loosens up with a crazed look in his eye that is utterly hilarious...and baffles the girls with a stellar performance)
Don't Stop Believin' (from the pilot, after the kids have been given up on, lead vocalists, Rachel and Finn decide to stage a new song anyway because THEY LOVE TO SING... and a fucking awesome tangled love story blossoms XD -- the Glee version hit #1 on iTunes)
The Thong Song (HILARIOUS WHITE BOY ACTUALLY DOING PRETTY WELL...never ceases to make me laugh)
There's just too much goodness to capture in a footnote.
