Last week, I pulled three all-nighters. On the nights I got to sleep, I got no more than four hours, sometimes half that.
Last night, I had a draft due for today and the very idea of doing another all-nighter almost made me want to cry.
So I slept instead.
And turned in a very piddly draft that consisted of an intro and "setting-up" argument that did not yet lead into my actual point concerning the theory of "consent" and the sideshow.
This week, I have two papers and a presentation due.
For the presentation, I am planning on memorizing and "performing" an excerpt of my text of critical analysis.
Also, the people I am doing my service learning with are asking for an article draft this week.
Yay, work tomorrow! Time that could be better spent studying. Amen.
I think I will use this weekend to conduct a small research project on the effects of sleep deprivation and see if that will force me to re-evaluate how I approach my studies.
