So I'm finally back from Tampa, Florida. I had lots of fun there, even though we had to get up early and spent hours upon hours listening to the conferences. Wednesday turned out to be a free day for us, cause the even started on Thursday. We ended up on Bush Garden. I finally went up a roller coaster! I think I died up there, but it was worth it. Of course, I learned a lot from that trip.
1. If your gonna get on a bus, for crying out loud find out where are you supposed to get out of it.
2. Hell, if you want to take a bus find out which bus is the one you have to get instead of entering the first one you see.
3. If it says free, take it.
4. Take more than one, cause your family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, etc. will like free stuff too.
5. The more things you get for free the less souvenirs you actually have to buy.
6. Food... Hard to find when you don't have a clue where anything is.
7. People actually use the names of the streets to give directions.
8. We still got lost following them.
9. The Verizon building was a good point of reference to find the hotel.
10. And when you actually find somewhere to eat, the prices makes you wish you hadn't found it.
11. If you can close your bags it means there is still enough space for something more.
I'm gonna post some pictures of the trip later. I hope that, if I'm still working there next year and they get the proposal approved again, they pick me again to go there. I love my little island, but I liked going out of it for a few days. My depression is almost gone. ^_^
