Well this is disconcerting...

According to our ion chromatography results, the level of nitrates in San Luis Obispo's tap water is over 10 times the EPA's maximum contamination limits. And according to their own website, consumption of high levels of nitrates can be fatal in infants under 6 months. Granted, the value we got is way outside the range of our calibration curve, and so it can be assumed that the error in this value is huge. But even if we assume that the actual value is 1/10th of what we calculated... we're still over the limit.

EDIT: Ok, I'm an idiot. That was our sulfate peak, not our nitrate peak. Our nitrates are fine. Our sulfates on the other hand... they're not toxic but damn do they make water taste bad.

classes, fluff
