I feel very very thankful.

Yesterday, eight bombs went off on eight different trains in Mumbai. One of my cousins regularly uses one of those trains to travel home from work, every day, during rush hour. But, as fate or luck or God or whatever would have it (I personally have chosen to believe in all of the above), his boss had sent him out of town the day before, for a couple of days. So - very very thankful. I also feel very bad for all the people who lost their lives (and will lose their lives over the next few days), but right now my overriding emotion is gratitude.

And, of course, the hope that whenever the fuckers who did this (and all other crimes against innocent people, for that matter) die, they find out that the afterlife is not at all a pleasant place to be. I don't really care who any of them are or what walk of life they come from or why they did this, I just want them to feel as miserable as they have made other people feel. I suppose it's not very charitable of me, but there it is.

randomosities, rant, deep thoughts
