Ummm... guess it wasn't me after all
Have you ever been rejected by a job and you couldn't stop thinking about it for days, weeks maybe even months trying to figure out what you did wrong? Well, I applied for a job at a company last year that I really wanted to get into. There were two people up for the job, me and another woman... they of course went with the younger, more attractive woman instead of me. Which at the time I thought was funny because they were telling me their demographics were women in their 30's that like to play games on the computer. DUH, that would be me so who better to help their customers? Any who, they gave the job to the younger, more attractive woman and it was a done deal. I kicked myself because I thought, shit could it be me? Do I suck that bad? Well, I just heard yesterday that the company's stock has drastically started to drop in the last couple of months. Not because they are not doing a good job in providing a service, not because they are not coming up with new ideas for games... nope. It's because they are being sued by the only female that works there (the woman they picked over me) for sexual harassment. HA! Double HA! That my friends is a case in study of how Karma knows where you live - fuck up and you will get a visit.
