Photographs from the "Save Tookie" Rally this past saturday, nov 19th, in front of California State Prison San Quentin. It was incredible.

Over 1,000 people showed up to protest Stan's Execution and the Racist Death Penalty. Please note the small cluster of guards watching from the inside of the prison gates.
Fred Hampton Jr. spoke about his father's murder in the 70's, the Black Panther Party and Police Brutality. He is awesome. We met for the first time when he came to the ISO's meeting to defend Lynn Stewart last semester. I was happy to see him again.
The Nation of Islam was also there en masse. 78 ministers provided the main security for the event.
Here are three very kind men from the Nation of Islam that we have been meeting with for the past month. On the left is Leon Muhammad, he is wearing one of the "Save Tookie" buttons I made. This makes me feel happy.
7th grader who spoke about how Tookie's guidance has made him feel comfortable in refusing to do some of the negative things his friends might do.
