Vancouver Days
Sunday after the party I woke up early at home and had the best shower of my life. I can't believe how sweaty & gross I was the night before.. ew ew ew. So anyway, I showered and grabbed my laptop and left my poor sleeping boyfriend for Lindsays house..
Lindsay & I had to be back at No Tofu to survey the damages that morning at 11:15, so after some tea & internet'ing we headed over. I can't believe what an amazing job Adrian and his friend did keeping out the 'bad kids', this time there was no broken phone, no holes in doors, no writing on the walls (no other nastier things that I don't need to mention). It was a pretty painless cleanup, but we still managed to get out of it..

While we were out Louis went for groceries & everyone else managed to get out of bed. We had some pretty amazing omelette's (thank you louis!) and lazed around for hours..
Lindsay & I had to return the C stands & the palm by 4:00 that day so we packed everyone in the car mid afternoon for a road trip to BBY, I don't think this was the highlight of their trip to Canada, but it had to be done. :/ By the time we got back it was dark, Lindsay & Louis napped while Rony, Lauren, Trevor, Alex & I did a walking tour of downtown (STARBUCKS!) and some shopping, then headed to Kadoya for Sushi..
Nigel was still pooped from his Saturday night adventures with Erica so he headed home after dinner but Craig, Shea & Nick met up with us at Fantacity for our Karaoke adventure..
Omg, so good. There are some horrific videos that Lauren has on her camera of Rony & Trevor singing Shaggy 'it wasn't me' and everyone doing Backstreet Boys.. I won't be posting those. Rony wanted POUTINE after karaoke so we went to Fritz, then went home and passed out.
Somehow or another we managed to get everyone up, snow suited and out the door by 11:00 Monday morning (I took the day off work!) We drove to North Van for breakfast/lunch at Tim Hortons (another Canadian experience) then went on a trek for ski pants/boots for Trevor & Lauren.. FYI Walmart doesn't carry them (WTF?) Eventually we realized Lauren had forgotten her jacket back at the house too so went back downtown for that, got lost - and FINALLY got up to Cypress Bowl... only to discover tubing was CLOSED. Thankfully Seymour was open because we were all about ready to loose our minds after hours of driving around in circles together. We ended up being the only ones at the tubing hill! (coral! malcolm! we still need to get everyone together to do this!)
Dinner that night was retarded to get to as well, the wind was INSANE downtown and when we got to Incendios in Gastown the power was out.. we walked to the Water St. Cafe and the power was out there too!!! Finally we drove up to the other Incedios on Burrard where we found more chaos, the glass door had been broken by the wind.. I think it was Lindsay who said that we really had to work for our fun that day. After dinner we had to drive way out in Kits to find Trevors glasses that some girl from the party had somehow ended up with, then everyone went to Shine and I said my goodbyes & headed home.
I seriously had one of the best weekends I've had in a while and I want to go back to LA now even more... ♥ ♥ ♥
