A Bug.
I had the rest of my film developed this afternoon, the guy at the store gave me an expired roll of 100iso slide film for free - so I spent all day at work trying to figure out cross processing & pushing slide film without much luck, I need help. (help?)
I love the way the rest of our Barcelona photos came out..
- some of the rest of the photos were taken on a disposable camera I'd bought in February of 2006 to take with us to Cuba, I didn't end up using it then so it's been sitting in my closet until recently. I didn't realize it had already expired.. so now I'm not sure if it was just being past it's expiration that gave it the wonky colours or if sending it through a TON of xray machines prior to having it developed effected it in any way.. regardless, I actually really love them -
Everything else is just bits of pieces of the past few weeks. Like when Nigel & I went for breakfast at The Templeton with Malloreigh & met Ali
..and then when Lindsay & I went out to East Van one Saturday morning to get Adrienne & meet up with everyone for greasy eggs & toast.
That was the night I stayed at the Center til late (and Malcolm kept commenting on how surprised he was that I was still out there) & drank too much Sangria. That next day was rough.. (there's more pictures from that night here)
Nigel & I went to Playland last Wednesday.. we were too cheap to buy the pictures they take on the rides, so we took our own.
We stayed until closing and motorcycled home, still damp with water from the log ride and buzzing from too much sugar.

Then Sunday afternoon was my Dad's surprise 55th birthday party, Nigel & I went out early to help my mom.. Dad was amazed to see us there at noon with four cases of beer, I don't think he believed he was really having a party until the guests started showing up. Erica was there...
We played Sweet Valley High, the board game!... Nigel won.
What I'm most excited about though, is that I was waiting to get some photos back before I posted about the most amazing thing I've ever owned IN MY WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE. (you may recall this post a few weeks ago..) omg omg omg omg omg I totally bought it!!
This picture was taken at the Shell station on the Mary Hill Bipass two Sunday's ago at around midnight. I think I'd owned it for three days when NIgel & I drove it out to my parents house to show them and then had it BREAK DOWN on Lougheed Hwy in Maple Ridge.. we jump started it and just barely made it to the gas station. I ended up having to call my parents to come lend me a car for the night and have it towed the next morning to a garage. A few repairs and we were good to go again.. ♥ little bug ♥ It's a 1962 Rag Top and the love of my life (sorry nigel).
Tonight I'm feeling like complete garbage, I can't believe I picked up something from the birthday party.. uuuugh. I'm spending the night photoshopping pictures from Manj & Jess's show the other night at the Backstage Lounge and drinking green tea with Nigel. I'm in my pj's already and, god damn it, I'm not getting back out of them until the morning.
