ok, the bus ride to orlando was 42 hours..............................wait, i wrote that twice. ok, from the last update, after the show in nashville, we drove to philly. this was a big drive too. we got to the squad house, and went to k-mart to look for costumes for the costume party. i got a child's ninga outfit, with fake muscles in the sleaves. even though i was nervous of the situation, EVERYONE was way nice. the next day, we had a show at none other,.................than DOYLES TOWN YMCA. i have come to eat my own words. the show was awesome, we played ok, squad tore it up. then, back to the house(the call it THE HAMILTON because it's on hamilton street). next day was all about, i forget. but one night we did drive to bowie, MD to play a wierd church show. there were tons of kids, video footage between each band, and a bunch of kids that dreesed up like jeff from squad. we got feed really well, and sold 2 hundred bones in merch. way good. after the show, back to philly. i forget what happend next,
BUT!!! yesterday we(all 9 of us plus one) drove to NYC! it was to rad. i saw the empire state building! and cbgb's! and st. mark's place! and etc! and ETC!!!! it was rad. squad played a showcase for capitol records and we watched at cbgb's. they did good. i really started to miss my friends last night though. it's fun being out here, but i can't wait to get out there with my friends on my time with my music in my van, OH WAIT, tommy's van. after the show, tooth and nail bought us two hotel rooms, were half of us crashed, and the other half went to some famous bar with the guys from capitol. i was the half that stayed at the room. that morning, a quick bagel breakfast from the deli, and drive next to rockafeller center, times square, madison square garden(!), it was back to the p-h-i-l-l-y! here i am writing. so the journal is all caught up, we are off to flint, MI tonight(12 hrs), and i don't know were after that. be good journal.
