Do you have a French obsession? Other than fashion, it’s the food. I love crêpes, Berthillon ice cream, croissants and the cheese.
When in Paris, where do you like to shop? At the Saint-Ouen flea market. The last time I was there I found a very pretty ring and a small antique box.
What is your favorite sentence in french? I studied french a long time ago, but the sentence I love the most comes from the street, “Je m’en foue!” (I don’t give a fuck).
What are your best and worst fashion memories? The best is the Met Ball, organized by Anna Wintour in New York, always so eccentric. The worst is a total orange look from when I was a teenager.
Are you afraid of the “fashion police”? “Non, je m’en fous!” [in french]. I don’t want to be a slave to fashion.
Your glam / not glam look? Glam: to pick clothes according to you, not according to other people. Not glam: clothes that are too tight. A look that follows the trend to closely. And, of course, the total orange look!
