Sorry, couldn’t post on your last post because of a deep and abiding fear of photographic spoilers. But I sympathise with the contracts exam ::shudder:: I can’t even remember how I went on that, although I remember two solid days in the library, catching up on every tape I could because I hadn’t actually gone to any lectures…Anyway, hoepfully you did brilliantly :). Btw, is Nick Seddon still teaching it?

Dear lord, I don't know what I'd do without the lecture tapes. I must have listened to something like twenty hours of tapes over the past two weeks. I never want to see the inside of the law library again (and yet I have a funny feeling I'm gonna have to...maybe next year I'll try dragging my sorry ass out of bed on occasion.)

Btw, is Nick Seddon still teaching it?

Nope, though we did read an article by him on estoppel. My lecturer was new this year (Madelaine Chiam) and she was amazing--she made what I imagine can be a horribly dry course really funny and interesting (she's a devoted Buffy fan too. All our practice problems involved characters from BtVS or Angel. I couldn't stop laughing for two weeks straight). I'm kinda sad I didn't do more work for this course because if I flunk it's not going to be because of her teaching.

Danke! I'm cheating, of course, with the sepia tone hiding all imperfections, plus the two hours or so it took to fix my hair into a presentable state.
