You should post them! We all have to start somewhere. I like to think I've improved a LITTLE bit haha you make them with whatever graphics program you have at your disposal and then upload them to an image-hosting site [Photobucket, Imageshack, etc.] and then copy & paste the icons' HTML code that the image-hosting site makes for you. You can also put them in tables if you want; a bunch of people on LJ have premade icon tables, so you just plug in the HTML code in their table, and then paste the code that the table gives you into a new entry and I don't even know if I'm making sense :D But hopefully I am haha
