Sorry everyone that doesn't live around me, I'm on a hostel computer and can't cut this. <=) So you all have to skim over it. Anyway, for anyone that does live around, contact me if you're interested please. =)

I don't know how you guys feel about this, but I've been wanting to do this multi-dance/movement group thing for awhile, and have finally obtained the use of 8:08s ballroom on Sunday afternoons from 2:30-3:30. The time is some what flexible and if it doesn't work for the majority of you I can possibly change it.
What it would be is basically a time to put together a series of movements, posters, facts, and stats to raise awareness in the Goshen community about the serious level of AIDS in Africa, as well as starvation (in the Sub-Saharan countries especially), and possibly the child soldiers of Uganda. (i recommend www.worldvision.org or other online sites for brushing up on what's happening there if you're interested). I'm not looking to raise money or get people to go out there or anything, I just think that if more people KNEW and were confronted about it in a social/community setting that something positive could happen!!!
So yeah, whether you feel comfortable dancing/stomping/dying in public or not, you should come and help put stuff together at least for an hour on some Sundays.
Ooh, and if anyone has time to write to the Goshen courthouse requesting permission for a peaceful demonstration let me know, I pretty much have a letter written already, but it would be nice if someone else has the time to flesh it our, print, envelope, and stamp it. =) Also I would be interested in ideas anyone has for other places we could quietly open people's eyes.
Much love,
Tricia
