It feels so good to be home

Dear LJ,

So I've been home for about 2 days now. I'm really really glad to be back, I missed a bunch of things. Like my bed for instance, and the english language, two very important things. Oh yeah, and my family and friends but psh, they're about last on my list. haha jk.
So I suppose this is where I will put my Europe rant. I'll try and do it in a very simplistic manner for those of you who choose to read this.
I went to Albright College for 3 days to learn music, eat, and sleep. That is literally all we did. It was pretty exhausting, but then again, the entire trip was exhausting. For the record, I am never attending Albright. The dorms felt like a prison cell, and the beds were horrible. I also froze my ass off the first night because my roommate and I left on the bizarre air conditioner. I slept in jeans and a hoodie. It was pretty sad.
Then, we jetted off to Europe. With the time difference, it felt like I'd been awake for a week, but technically it was only about 2 days. Still, more than I was willing to handle. But we were in Paris!!! And Paris is beautiful. If I didn't have to drive anywhere in that city, I would live there. But I said that about a bunch of places. We got to go on a cruise of the Seine River our first night there, took some pretty kickass pictures of the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, some museums which I could never spell to save the life of me, and other beutiful buildings. It was great. The next night we went up the Eiffel Tower, which was also amazing. We had a great view of the city. I'd also like to note that some friends and I saw a couple walking and making out at the same time a level below us. I thought that was pretty skilled of them.
Let's see, what else did we do. We went to Normandy and performed a concert there, a town called Honfleur which was fucking great. I will live there @ some point in my life. We went to Luxembourg where our tour guide never shut up, Germany where I bought Birkenstocks, Austria where I got to play in the snow on top of a glacier :), and Belgium which has the greatest chocolate ever made. I do have more stories but don't feel like writing them here. And of course I met a bunch of amazing people who I miss a ton right now. It feels so weird not having a bunch of them around. I got used to their antics ;)
I lost my voice too. I currently sound like my dog Sugar when she's crying. It's gradually coming back, and wasn't as bad as it was @ the disco/dance club I was @ on Monday, but it still isn't all better. Oh well, I'll deal.
So yeah, that was Europe in a really small nutshell. If anyone wants some stories, let me know :). I'm getting my pictures developed soon so I'll post them everywhere as soon as I get them back :) Yay
