2005 year in Review.

Dec 18, 2005 22:37

It's December 18th and I figured I would do my year in review now, while I have a spare moment on this wonderful sunday night. 2005 was by far the most exciting, life changing year yet. 2005 would be the year that I started my final year of college, said goodbye to a close friend, knowing that I would never ever see him again. I turned 23, graduated from CMU with my degree, moved into a great new place with Tim, and became engaged in August! It's been such a great year, but at the same time I am so far away from all of my friends. On one side, this year has been absolutely amazing but the downfall to all of this is that with graduating from CMU, my closest friends are so spread out. Samantha is in Arizona at Law school, Brian is still teaching in Cali and Tim and I miss him so much. Tiffany moved to K-Zoo with her job, and Erin for a change actually found stable ground back in Montrose. Wierd to not have her all over the damn US. 2005 has by far been one of the best years and the saddest year at the same time. Only because with change comes uncertainity and along with that comes hesitation. Sometimes this world spins so fast that I just wish we could take a day off to just stop time and play catch up. Life goes on, is such a true statement. I have finally entered the real world as an adult, a non student, and it is very very different. This year I have become so close to my family all over agian, closer then I have ever imagined, and it's wonderful. Brittany Rae is already a junior in HS and is so talented and smart. She is also such a great person. I just know she will do amazing things in college. Abby, Jen, and Brian are so fun. They just recently moved closer to Montrose, and only an hour away, which is very special for me because I typically cannot go more than a week without seeing Abby. :)  So, basically 2005 has been one busy and crazy year. Ive loved it all, all the ups and well and downs. Everyone is everywhere for a reason, and we are all doing so well! I am so proud of all of my friends, you guys are doing such great things and I am so happy to have you all in my life.

Happy Holidays Everyone. Merry Christmas and have a wonderful New Year!
