i just watched the dragostea din tei by ozone video, you know that romanian song that was really popular!? it is SUPER HILARIOUS! If you need a laugh, definitely watch it. They are dancing around all these places in mirrored sunglasses and tight white pants and then at one point they are cartoons with vampire teeth. oh man. i can't describe the joy.
so now there is a school in santa barbara and one in LA that i am going to visit. still have to confirm the day for monterey. ugh! i have been trying not to stress, and to meditate on the phrase "cast your bread upon the waters..." and it will return to you after many days. something like that. sometimes i can't help picturing the metaphor literally, and that the bread would be soggy. or going to smith park as a kid, and how the bread got soggy and we'd try to feed the ducks but they were kind of aggressive and scary.
it has been too long since i've had a GEN-U-INE dance party! :) also, fun whilst dancing is singing high and off-key?! reminds me of socials in the summer and hall dance parties. our first year living at miami, i used to make monica dance to sandstorm, that techno song, as a homework break, and then we made up a dance together to it. VERY FUNNY! it involved the shopping cart and similar moves.
