Yep.
1. The three weeks after our Delaware vacation and before school starts are a special form of hellish hell-like hell.
2. I can't quite believe it, but I found jeans that fit. I'm tempted to buy like five pairs. I just might.
3. They have invented a horrifying new form of Froot Loops. There is this GROSS gunk in the middle of the red square ones. It kind of tastes like the fluoride you have to eat in that gross mouth tray at the dentist.
4. I'm watching The Newsroom with adrenalin211. I absolutely love the politics, but because I am apparently broken for all television viewing, I don't actually like any of the characters. Except Sloane. Sort of. BUT. I recommend it highly if you're a big giant socialist freak like I am.
5. The trailer for S4 of TWD has me so freaked out that I can barely even look forward to the premiere. For those of you who watch Breaking Bad: Do you think this is just a trend -- the thing where basically they just make every season ten times darker than the last one until they hit terminal darkness velocity? Just pondering.
6. It's really fun to watch The Avengers with S. He loves Tony Stark. Probably because he IS Tony Stark, more or less. The ten-year-old version. And you know, without the Iron Man part.
7. This unexpectedly cool August is delighting my soul in a way for which I can not even find WORDS:)
8. God I miss writing. I just can't seem to organize my brain enough or something.
9. I have "Edelweiss" stuck in my head. Weird.
10. I'm 2/3 of the way through Monsters of Men, the final book of the Chaos Walking trilogy, and although I am enjoying them like woah, the villain in these books is making me super thoughtful. What do you guys think comprises a good villain? Is there a point where you just hate the person TOO much, in such a way that it honestly makes the story less enjoyable to read? I'm just curious.
I miss talking to you guys. Popping in to tumblr every now and then is fun, but tumblr in its entirety is like getting a snack every now and then and never ever ever having a full meal. OKAY THAT WAS A BAD ANALOGY. But anyway. What's up?
Off to shop for school supplies. I can't even believe it's time for that again, YIKES.
