+++ Whew, I more or less finished my yuletide story. (It's posted to AO3, but I can still screw with it until the reveal.) AND IT WAS SO FREAKIN' HARD. I can't say anything else before the reveal, but it was a fandom that is not 24. I think probably it was a terrific exercise, but I feel super shaky about the result and can only hope that my recipient doesn't hate it. Because that wouldn't be yuletidey. Or something. Now I have to see how quickly I can write a metric fuckton of schmoop that fortunately only adrenalin211 will ever see. Our epic pillowfort of 24 AU is my happy place!
+++ Srsly five days until Christmas. I can't deal with this. My brain has been so all over the place since the Newtown news. In any case, I still have my fingers crossed that Santa brings me an iPad mini. I saw one at N's Christmas concert last night and OMG SO COOL. I also can't wait to see the kids flip over what they got:)

And also, these .gifs are really funny. Oh, tumblr. Tumblr is kind of awesome, because for example I track the Buffy tag, and people say hilarious shit in there like, "OMG ANGEL WAS BAD?" and "OMG BUFFY'S MOM DIED?"
SO, only five days. I found this lovely Songza station that is comprised exclusively of solo piano Christmas tunes, and I absolutely adore it as background music when I can't really pay attention. Also, the other day I realized that I had not yet heard 'God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen' by Sarah McLachlan and the Barenaked Ladies ONE TIME THIS YEAR. So I blasted it immediately. How about you guys?
