lowriseflare usually does this around New Year's, but I'm doing it now because I feel like it and because all the posts related to yuletide make me think how much I wish I had all the time in the world to make cool icons or write fic surprises for people. ANYWAY.

YES TO #4 I ESPECIALLY APPROVE OF YOUR AARON PAUL CASTING. Maybe he and Annie can be on a TV show together that you will love, especially since Breaking Bad is finishing up its last season this year! I just really need Idris to be in something I can deal with watching. I halfway want to watch Luther but I know it's so dark. It's just GAH, he's so hot I cannot cope with it at all. So I hope when Luther's done he gets something I'm super excited about.

Also, he should absolutely be James Bond. Daniel Craig, whatever. Idris Elba > you.

Oh man, I'm sure I've got one, but I haven't thought so much about it yet (for Rookie Blue to get back on my TV as soon as possible and for both Sam and Andy to realize they've made a terrible mistake that can only be corrected by one month in bed; for the continued quality of kissing on Parenthood; for a new ship I can really sink my jaws into; the usual, basically). I'm sure there are others, though. I'll probably do a list in January, yeah.

No new album, but Sarah McLachlan does have a new song out with the students from her school. The video is a little hilarious as she's walking around Vancouver in the fall wearing a sparkly silver evening gown.

My only wish for fandom is that it be Dec. 8th already so I could watch the next ep of BN. But I also don't want that yet, because OMG, so much to do before Australia.

We go on the 14th. Fortunately, we're going to celebrate Russian Christmas with my MIL when we get back, so some of the present pressure is off. I just have to wrap my head around the idea of 40 degrees above zero for Christmas. Ugh.

I'm really hoping you figure out the gif thing, because that will be awesome.

Argh, hot Christmas is the wrongest, especially when you're used to conditions where you live. I get so mad going down to MD now, because for example, last year there was a white Christmas here, and in MD it was like . . . 50. OY.

I keep finding these .gif tutorials I have absolutely no time to watch, and they suggest the idea that you can import bits of video into PS and mess with the entire thing. Seriously, I know nothing. But if I ever figure it out, HOO BOY.

Iron Man 3 does look awesome, and I've not even seen the first two movies.

Stupid Civil Wars reenacting the civil war with each other. GET IT TOGETHER AND MAKE BEAUTIFUL MUSIC BABIES PLEASE! If I may make a recommendation, I've recently fallen IN LOVE with The Avett Brothers and I think you'd like them.

You will probably cringe to know that adrenalin211 and I went to a concert last year at which Brandi was appearing with The Avett Brothers, and we left before they were even finished singing because it was pouring and we were afraid that we wouldn't be able to get out of the parking lot. Oh, man.

I do like them, but I don't get obsessed for some reason. I'm never quite sure what makes the difference with me. I do truly adore I and Love and You. And I'm so glad you've discovered them, because musical love affairs are awesome and excellent. And YES The Civil Wars just need to get a freakin' life. I swear, do they not like money or something?

Man, I sincerely wish that for all my Fringe-loving f-listers so much. How many more eps to go?

I find it most amusing that I have enjoyed the Iron Man films so much. The Avengers changed everything.
