I'm 6 months old today! That's 1/180th (or so) of my life gone already!
It's been a busy half year, that's for sure. Check out all I've learned:
I nurse like a pro.
I smile and giggle.
I recognize my mama and papa and grandma annie (quack quack!) and my puppies.
I roll over both ways.
I can grab what I'm reaching for (and quick! watch out glasses!)
I sit unsupported.
I can pivot on my tummy.
I can scoot backwards and even inch forwards a little. (Mama thinks I'll be crawling any day now. She's a little scared. Bwah hah ha ha!)
I make fabulous noises both with my vocal chords and by whacking stuff.
I can pull things out of a box.
I can pull hair out of a dog or a mama's head.
I can use one toy to manipulate another toy. (I use tools! Knuckle walker, my ass. I'm way evolved.)
I can get my parents to do pretty much whatever I want.
And that's just the obvious stuff!
OK, sure, it doesn't seem like much. But considering that I've only had six months to learn it and when I started I didn't even quite get the sucking thing, I think I'm doing pretty freakin' well.
Plus, I'm damn cute.
