A little late with this, but completed nonetheless. :)
26 - Best voice acting.
Mass Effect 2 had pretty much flawless voice acting if you play a female Shepard (Jennifer Hale is a veteran voice actress and she delivers magnificently; the rest of the cast is also very good). The cinematic dialogue cut-scenes really enhanced that.
Day 27 - Most epic scene ever.
Approaching the end of Neverwinter Nights: Mask of the Betrayer probably fills the bill, and I think that entering the Astral Plane where the dead god Myrkul is, was a very powerful moment. That said, however, MotB had a decidedly epic and otherworldy feel throughout.
Day 28 - Favorite game developer.
I suppose it's (Black Isle ->) Bioware and Bethesda Softworks, since they've been making the games I've enjoyed most, although I wouldn't go as far as to call them 'favourites'.
Day 29 - A game you thought you wouldn’t like, but ended up loving.
Oddly, Mass Effect 1. I had the impression it was some FPS kind of game until I watched my partner play it. And then I was hooked, badly.
A similar case was Baldur's Gate, back in 1998. I had seen the box sitting on my neighbour's shelf, and was kinda put off by the skull design on it. Little did I know!
Day 30 - Your favorite game of all time.
Extremely hard to choose, but I think it is Planescape: Torment, for reasons I have stated in previous entries. A compelling story, unique setting, departure from many, many clichés, and poor marketability. :)
However, it would be unfair not to also mention Starcraft I, Mass Effect 1 & 2 (not to forget the fandom, either!), NWN: Mask of the Betrayer, Morrowind, The Battle for Wesnoth, and especially since I never mentioned it in the entire meme even though I had wasted MANY hours playing it throughout my teens: Nethack. XD
