I've been doing these small ballpoint pen sketches lately, mostly based on photos. They're very small (on A6 size paper each), and ironically enough, I do them to rest my eyes from working too many hours in front of a screen. The frequent change of focus from reference (on screen, actually) to paper does help, though.

Characters from Mass Effect 2. The first one kind of looks like a young version of my Shepard, but I did it off the top of my head, and didn't remember her features too well. I got
some screenshots of her, though: At some point I'll draw her too, I guess.
