I am not sure if you all are aware of the recent tragic events that occured in the past 2 months at Pocono Mountain School District. There has been 5 deaths since school started; 4 of which were suicide and one of a fatal car accident.
Suicide is not the answer to problems. One of the 4 was a former student. Nothing in life is worth not living. There is a solution to everything and death is not it. Please talk to someone and if you're on the other side listen; it could mean the difference between life or death for that person. Seek help, there are people out there willing to help. Suicide is not an alternative.
Tyler McHugh died last night in a fatal car accident around 9:45pm at the intersection of Stoney Hollow Road and Rt. 940 when the car collided with another. He was traveling with 3 other student, 2 of whom were flown from the scene and the other is now at home recovering. Tyler was pronounced dead at the scene. Tyler was a senior at PMWHS and was to graduate this year with his class.
Please everyone be careful with cars, wear your seat belts, take the extra 5 mins to leave early, don't speed, pull over if you are tired, etc... The class of 2005 has already lost 2 students in less than a year due to car accidents.
The families of the decesased are in my thoughts and prayers. And I pray this is the last for the Pocono Mountain School District.
