So, I have a musical recommendation for you all. The Decemberists. They are kind of like the bastard child of They Might Be Giants and Gaelic Storm. Bizarre, but good. check it out.
Not too much else happening. I joined that dating site and have doen nothing about it, so I have to sit down and actually do that. Sitting at home is getting pathetic.
Family life on my mom's side of the family exploded in a very fantastical fireworks sort of way. Its a long story that Im not telling on here. Lets just say that the lows certain family members have sunk to are really quite impressive. Not to mention the denial.
Finally saw The Devil Wears Prada . Actually liked it better than the book. The plot changes were good adjustments, and seeing the fashion is better than the imagining of it. Meryl Streep is fantastic. Im tempted to root for her on Oscar night even though she already has a small army of those little gold men.
Things have been slow and depressive there with THE LOSS. To put it in perspective, our staff is only 1/3 of what it was during holiday. All our temps, plus some part timers were let go the day after the loss. Lets hope the BBallers do well in their tourneys. This really has given us time to train and learn and update our computers and do all the thing we say we want to do and never have had time for.
