I could've lost one of my best friends today.

And I've come to realize that I could lose one of my friends each and everyday. My friend Sarah goes to Virginia Tech, we've been friends since we were seven years old and although distance and time have made it hard to keep in touch, we've stayed close. I couldn't believe the news when I heard about the shooting and I called her franticly over and over, I'm just thanking God she's OK. I hate that events like this have to happen for me to really think of how fragile and short life is. I love her so much. I can't believe this happened and could happen anywhere.
