Obviously, all the energy I was running on during the Brass Belles photoshoot this afternoon was adrenaline, because I feel dead right now. Of course, that could also be the five hours of sleep I've had, too.
I feel really humbled to be classed in the same group as Jessie & Catherine, the other two Brass Belles being photographed today. Catherine has some amazing props, and Jessie made the perfect steampunk gypsy. (They're both such fun to be around, too. Random Sweeny Todd lyrics FTW.) The props & accessories I used? Borrowed pieces. Really cool pieces, granted, but borrowed nonetheless. I've really got to put together a few more ensembles in the near future, especially since I'll be on some of the promotional material for the next Kinetescope. Can't have a Brass Belle wear the same old thing to every social outing!
As for the photos, out of eighty, I'm only happy with maybe a dozen. It's either my expression, or the pose, or the way I look in the image. Oh, well. At least I get to pick three images to send to the printer, as opposed to someone else choosing for me. And I know what to work on for other photo shoots: posing without needing to be coached, facial expressions, not constantly blinking. Pretty much everything! Apparently Guy & the photographer are already brainstorming ideas to use with both me & Jessie. Oh, the pressure! But I love being a Brass Belle so far, so it's worth it.
