For the second time in six years, I'll be missing DragonCon.
I was really looking forward to it this year--Abney Park, visiting with friends, the costumes, roadtripping with Kristi--but there's work "stuff" going on, and I can't take the time away from my store. Instead, I might go to AnimeFest here in Dallas. Not quite the same, but there are some other costuming opportunites coming up in the next few months, at least.
