After looking at a lot of photographs on Flickr of the various Disney park Wendys, I've decided that I'm going to do more of an “inspired by” version of Wendy Darling than a carbon copy version. Hehehe, I made a Wendy dress before for someone to wear for a play. I used the Sense and Sensibility's site Regency dress pattern and crepe for the dress if I'm not mistaken. :)

That turned out really cute!

I do have her Simplicity pattern, now that I think about it. Hmmm.... So far, crepe is winning as the fabric of choice, partially because there'd be little to no dying involved. :-)

a good friend of mine is wanting to dress as wendy darling for a disney theme party were planning to have, but were having a hard time finding a costume on the net. Yours is the best match so far. it's great. I was wondering if you could email me the pattern or tell me where I can find it. All I could find were "supplimental Patterns" not the originals. Please help.

Sure thing. ;) The pattern I used for that Wendy Dress is from 'Sense and Sensibility' patterns. It is their Regency dress. I cannot recommend the site enough. She is friendly, efficient and ships fast. The patterns are quite detailed and quality as well.
