I can't finish this in time for DragonCon. There's just no way, not with my work schedule the next two days, in addition to packing and getting ready for a 12-hour drive across the South. I've already screwed up sewing the bodice together and the skirt together once each, and haven't even touched the zipper yet. And with my past relationship with zipper sewing (ie, lots of cursing and seam ripping), it's not going to be a smooth process.

Really disappointed. And mad at myself for waiting until a few days beforehand to seriously work on it. Stupid procrastination combined with perfectionism.

I will finish this dress to my satisfaction. Just not this week.
