30 day meme day 19:
The style of clothing you feel most comfortable in:
Umm, do pajamas count as a style? Seriously, most days when I come home from work (where I don't have to wear super fancy clothes, but I sitll have to look reasonably presentable) I will ditch my pants for PJ pants as soon as possible.
I have a serious dislike for pants that aren't stretchy and/or have a button. I didn't own a single pair of jeans or button pants until I was in the seventh grade, and then that was only because I decided I was sick of being teased for wearing stretch pants and could deal with wearing jeans and khakis. Now that I don't have classmates to harass me, I'm more amenable to jeans, but I still only own one pair. I much prefer stretchy, soft pants. The only problem with this is that most pants in that style don't have pockets.
I also usually like winter clothes more than summer ones. I like to wear pants and socks and long sleeves, and I just adore feeling all snuggly in a sweater. Shorts usually feel too tight to me, although t-shirts and tank tops are all right.
Also, my BFF Abby has started a new blog, called
bizarrevictoria, which, in her own words, is about the following: "Fairly or unfairly, the [Victorian] aristocracy have always had a reputation for eccentricity, and this blog is dedicated to capturing and sharing some of their finest real-life and fictional moments of bizarreness." Abby has a real way with words, and she's not joking about the eccentricity.
Go check it out! Even if you know nothing about the Victorian period (like me) you won't be disappointed. The posts are all absolutely hilarious, and how can you resist a blog that's, "a place [to] recount the abject loopiness of something and ask, "WHYYY?" without worrying about finding an answer"?
