So, I missed last week because I was using the time to put the finishing touches on a wedding gift for a friend, but I am back!
Thoughts on last week: 1. Josh C. got gone for the second time, and no one cared, and 2. Thank God they didn't eliminate Anthony Ryan last week, because he rocked and won!
-I mean really, it's the third one in like, five weeks. It feels like cheap, manufactured drama, and I am sick of the focus being on fighting instead of the clothes.
-Of course you're going to go with Anya, Anthony Ryan, she's your BFF.
-And again, nobody wants Bert.
-Oh sweet God, Josh, Becky, and Bert all on one team... Also, I really feel like Josh picked Laura just because he knows he can boss her around.
-This is a really new challenge: Design a whole fashion show. I am intrigued.
-Five female visions of the Village People?! WHAT?! No, Josh, no.
-You "will not have it"? Who died and put you in charge, Josh? Oh, that's right, NO ONE.
-OMG Josh, he said the fuck word. You're like, 25, not 5. GET OVER IT.
-I am in love with Anya. That is all.
-You know Josh, the first time you blew up and then apologized, I was willing to forgive you. But now, I'm starting to sense a pattern. And ooh, I think Bert has you pegged.
-Umm guys? Anya does something she's never done every week, and always rocks it. Fact.
-Much as I like her, I think Becky has a complex with other people criticizing her.
-Oh God, those are all horrible. Every last one. Ugh.
-Your looks should not give Tim Gunn hives. That is possibly the ultimate in bad.
-DAMN RIGHT TIM GUNN. Josh needs to let his ego go.
-Oy, Josh, you got one bad critique, GET OVER IT. You can't go into fashion with that thin of a skin.
-All right Josh, pull it together. Suck it up and move on. You can do it.
-And we're back to judges that have no fashion experience as far as I know.
-Josh, that is AWFUL. It does not fit.
-I like Becky's, and Bert's surprisingly. Though I will admit that the length of Bert's is a little off.
-Laura, Kim, I just have one word for both of you: No. Though the whole thing does look more cohesive than I had anticipated.
-FUCK YEAH ANYA! I want your dress. Olivier's, on the other hand, confuses me.
-Viktor, I continue to like your clothes, if not always your attitude.
-Wow, Anthony Ryan and Anya's team won. DUH.
-For the second time, the judges seem to have kept the right person around. Olivier's jacket kicks ass.
-Holy crap, Rose Byrne is Australian?! Who knew?
-I can't tell whose outfit I dislike the most. I hate Laura's, but I like her, so I'm torn. Josh's is horrible too. Bert's has an awkward length, but I like it, and I like Becky and her outfit, though it is a little plain. Kim I am ambivalent about, both as a person and as a designer.
Me: Woah, Josh, where did that throwing Becky under the bus come from?
Andrew: He's just trying to draw attention away from himself.
Me: Which is hard to do in that shirt.
-Based on attitude, Josh should go. Becky though, she keeps having problems. ARGH. I'm glad I'm not a judge.
-On the other hand, Anya clearly should be the winner. Obvs.
-YES ANYA YES! She did also get two votes, unlike anyone else. ;)
-It may very well be time for Josh to go.
-Oh, no, I guessed wrong. Well, bye Becky. Good luck!
