So...I'm 20 years old, finished my sophomore year, and getting ready for the best summer ever. It'll be hard to top last summer at BCC, but this is on a completely different plane.
My track season left much to be desired, but after a week of injured hamstring, and another week off when i caught what i like to refer to as "the death," I guess I should have expected to not do so well.
I am completely finished with chemistry. The past two semesters of Ochem...good riddance. Systematic Bio worked my butt off, but it was so interesting, I seriously think of all my classes, I learned the most from it. And I pulled off an A, so I'm proud of myself.
Now, I've been home for a week now, and my days have consisted of waking up around 9, running, eating, then being lazy...reeeeally lazy.
But tomorrow I have a lunch date with Hema, who it's been...about a year since i've last seen. And then I'm hanging out with Allison at some point, and hopefully Katie as well.
Granted, this is all getting crammed into 2 days, because then I'm back to SU and my true summer agenda, which is as follows:
-Friday 18th: drive to Scott's house, celebrate 6 months (omg that's so crazy!!! <3 )
-Saturday 19th: Drive to SU, along with scott, but separate, so we can use his truck to move all my stuff from my old dorm into Seibert for the summer.
-Monday 21st: Start my summer work, i.e. helping Dr. Peeler with her research on chemical pathways in the growth and development of sea urchin embryos.
Memorial day weekend: 3 day hiking/camping trip with Scott, his brother, brother's gf, neil, caitlin, and maybe others. I'm soooo excited!!!
June 6th: Flight to Cincinatti, flight to LAX, flight to Sydney AUSTRALIA!!!!! 3 weeks of awesomeness!!!!!
June 26th: return home...recover.
July 1st: Back at school to finish research until August 3rd.
Sometime in july, I'm going to Warped Tour. I've just decided.
Also in July, I hope to get out to Pittsburgh to see Jason play with his band The Exit Lights (who seriously rock)
The next thing I know...I'll be starting my Junior year at SU....ridiculous.
