SURPRIIIISE!
So...Friday night, I was all set to go into Philly for an Italian dinner with my family. Nothing out of the ordinary. Well, I come downstairs after showering and getting ready and start talking to my mom. She has a funny look on her face, and halfway through my sentence, I look over at the other couch, and see Scott sitting there. My family had known all week that he was coming for the weekend to surprise me. Damn facebook...he contacted my sister to get all the info. I don't think I've ever been so surprised in my life. He told me that the plan would have made a good master card commercial...you know, flowers: $12, tolls: $4, the look on her face: priceless. That kid never ceases to amaze me. I think I spent the entire dinner trying to get over the fact that he really was with me, because he was always saying how he wouldn't get a chance to visit since his family only has two cars and yadda yadda yadda (insert more excuses here). If it wasn't such a sweet thing to do, I probably would have been mad at him. So after dinner we watched Jackass 2, and on saturday I took him for a tour of the mall and took care of my mom's birthday present. Then we went over to Valley Forge (it was 70+ degrees out!!!) and walked some of the trails up the mountains. It was gorgeous! Then we talked about maybe bowling or something...but none of my other friends were available, so we stayed in after going out to Angelo's with Carin. Today he came to church and the chili cookoff with my fam before he had to go home. It was nice getting to see him, even though we'll be back at school in a week. Going back to SU...finally. I miss everyone way too much!
