Yesterday I dropped my husband off at work, filled the car with gas, and bought a bunch of single carnations. I hit the road at 10:00 AM with a single goal: visit the graves of my ancestors, say a prayer, and leave a flower. My trip went like this:

Although the endeavor took until about 3:30 PM (nearly 6 hours), I felt quite fulfilled after doing it. I cleaned overgrowth from some of the graves and generally tidied up. I mention their names in the spirit of All Saints, and pray that they are at peace and with their creator.
