I think I'm going into the city next week, and I'm going to a presentation at Scholastic books, and maybe that will give me an idea of whether or not I'm really interested in publishing.

Plus, my grandfather worked for Scholastic. Maybe they'll be like "hey. he was cool. want a job with us?"
Doubtful, but it'd be nice.

And my mom worked for Penguin Putnam.
Maybe I could work for them.

Or maybe I should do none of the above.

I had a meeting with one of my professors, just cause she wanted to talk with each of us and find out how we like the course and what we we're doing for our final project. And she asked me what I was planning on doing after college. I told her I didn't have a clue. She said:
"I could see you being an editor."
That's what my mom did.

Seriously, I am my mom.
For real.

Then she told me she thinks I would make a good school psychologist. She told me that my freakish organizational skills (well she didn't say freakish, but you get the point), my clear interest in psychology (cause she's one of my psych professors), and my people skills would be perfect.

I think she's just a little partial to the field.

Any career advice is welcome, by the way.
