44/100: High Noon, by Nora Roberts - This was the first real novel of hers that I've read; the other was a collection of three novellas/short stories. This one was much, much better.
She did use the term "fisted" again, but only once, and I gave her a pass, since she used it in the context of "standing with her fists on her hips".
She sure does seem to like that particular word, though, so I'll be keeping an eye out for it ...
Overall, the book was an entertaining read, and very enjoyable characters. I liked this one enough to maybe read some of her others - this one was another one I'd scrounged from Mom's reading pile. Maybe I'll actually get some of my own now.
