The Studio!!!

Ok I'm going to start with yesterday. I was waiting for Chris to come to class and the kid sitting next to me keeps staring at me and I know I know him from somewhere and finally I realized he's the dude that we raced sprint cars with one time at Whip City. I was so excited. I gave him a ride home and caught up. It was really nice to see him again :) Anyways, I got up at 6 this morning to go to Providence for class. It actually wasn't that bad. After class I went home and ate lunch and warmed up my voice. At 130 I was off the the recording studio with Elizah. I was singing on a Christmas album, so I sang "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas". The song sucks but I ripped it up about 5 million times and then the two other guys who were singing beneath me went in and recorded and then Brian, my producer/manager, made Elizah go in and record a track. It was funny but she did fine! Brian was impressed and told Elizah that I was the best singer he had and he asked me to sing another track on the CD so I'll be back in the studio next Saturday to lay down another one. The show is beginning to make progress. By January 7th I have to have a 40 song set list so the band can learn the music and we can start rehearsals and I need to find a charity to send the money too. Brian is hooking me up with lights, staging, sound, video screens, the band, back-up singers, and a location. So everything is starting to move along which is really exciting and nerve-wracking all at the same time. I've never sang with a live band, and this is going to be a completely new and exciting experience for me. My voice is developing really well and I just hope I can stay in shape with it. I also start my demo on the 7th which will be simple. I'll be able to bang it out in a week and then we'll have another week of mixing. Following that I'll need to set up a photo shoot for some updated pics. There's just so much to do I don't wanna think about it right now.

I totally forgot that in 2 weeks I have surgery. I'm a little nervous because I was reading Friday afternoon that there is a high risk of them puncturing my bladder, which will cause me to have to have a catheter in for a week or two, and they can also puncture an intestine which will cause me to not be able to eat for a few days and have a tube stuck down my throat. I'm praying that everything goes according to plan and I will be out Thursday and back to school Saturday morning. The thing that'll piss me off the most is not being able to go to the gym. I feel great. None of my pants fit, I'm getting the line down the middle of my abs, I don't eat shit anymore. It's awesome. But anyways I'm wearing down quick and I have to get up early for the gym and then I'm going to the office to do some work. Laterrrrrr
