My best friend is full of Canadian fail
I've been obsessed with all things Canada for at least a decade. My best friend should know this. Damnit, people who I've met for ten minutes waiting for the bus know how I feel about Canada and Canadians. And yet, somehow my friend just today introduced me to this guy she's known for at least least eight years.*... he happens to be Canadian. And I'm not the only one of her friends who's unnaturally obsessed with Canada.
The guy was cute and funny and a scifi-nerd and commented on how he couldn't understand how I was still single. Also there was much flirting, even though he admitted to having a girlfriend. Although he didn't know Hugh Dillon, Headstones, Hard Core Logo or Bruce McDonald. He claimed this was because he was from Quebec. I'm not so sure. He does like sci-fi... and apparently has a single, desperate cousin who might want to marry me.I feel so torn. If I was Canadian, stalking certain people would be so much easier. But honestly, can I trust a man who doesn't understand how awesome Hugh Dillon is? He does know about CKR... And at least he knew who the creepy guy stalking Starbuck was. And I think I showed him my cellphone wallpaper :)
