Oh... that's why I had to buy those shoes
A little over a week ago I and the sister ordered some clothes from a mail outlet store - mostly because there was a huge sale, but also because I've recently noticed most of my clothes have extra holes in them. Anyway, when I noticed they had cream colored high-top Converse shoes for only 3 euros, I told the sister I had to have them. She looked at me dubiously and said they weren't really my style and also it's silly to buy shoes without trying them on first. I flailed for a bit and told her that the shoes were so cheap it wouldn't matter if they didn't fit and I really, really need to buy them. Later on I wondered why. Except for a pair of red slippers, all of my shoes are black leather.
I did have black Converse All-Stars when I was younger and I wore them religiously until my mother one day decided to throw them away because she thought they were hazardous to my health and to everyone else around me. I was about fifteen or sixteen then and didn't really miss my old shoes, especially since I got a pair of black Doc Marten's.
So, I just watched the season finale of Doctor Who and I just understood why I had to buy cream colored high-top shoes. Yes, the power of the tenth Doctor has compelled me to buy shoes that are probably too big and don't really match any of my clothes just because the Doctor likes to wear shoes just like them. I am such a geek.
Also, my watching the Last of the Time Lords went pretty much like this:
Computer: *starts playing the episode*
Lehanra: Oh no, season finale... *starts to weep*
The episode: *things happen*
Lehanra: *cries*
The Master: *dances*
Lehanra: WTF?
The Master: *sings and dances*
Lehanra: ---
Doctor Who: *is wearing the shoes*
Lehanra: Oh, that's why.... *has an epiphany* *resumes crying*

Lehanra: *stops crying* Damn, that was good. Now what will do until the 4th season starts?
