Goodbye Norma Jean

Sep 17, 2006 02:54

Holy crap! I sang karaoke and not just one song but four! One of them I sang all by myself (Hanat aukeaa by Kaija Koo) and three with my sister. The last song was Elton John's Candle in the Wind and it was a kind of disaster. The lyrics went too fast and we probably managed to sing just every other line. But the main thing is that we had fun. And I met two of my neighbours... It's kind of rare In Finland these days to even know who you're neighbours are and despite that I have managed to drink with three of them this week. Although the next door neighbour is all kinds of scary.

A major part of the fun is the fact people kept buying me drinks. I don't think I would've had the courage to sing without the alcohol. The sister and a couple of other people told me I sounded great and because of my extreme drunkenness I'm willing to believe them. Whee.

So I'm feeling kind of good. At least until the hangover sets in.

the sister, drunk drunk drunkety drunk
